The Tenuta del Collecchio is the operational and welcoming heart of our winery: here you will find the vinification cellar, the sales outlet and the spaces designed for tastings and events throughout the year. Immersed in the Maremma landscape, between hills and rows of vines, it offers an engaging environment where production meets conviviality. It is a place designed to bring our work to life up close, amidst the scents of must, wood and earth, with the cellar just a few steps away from the place where visitors taste and discover our wines.

Collecchio is also the stage for events: themed evenings, meetings with experts, presentations of new vintages and guided tastings tell our vision of wine. In the indoor and outdoor spaces, people meet, learn and share authentic moments. The estate is designed to foster encounters between guests and producers, guaranteeing an experience that is polished yet spontaneous, professional yet welcoming, a living place designed to turn every visit into a lasting memory.

2004

The Vision of the Dream

In 2004, we bought this land just 2.5 km away from the historic company headquarters in Fonteblanda, to realise our parents' dream, to build a real winery for us children who would continue along the road they had traced, here in Loc. Collecchio in the municipality of Magliano in Toscana, an uncultivated piece of land that our eyes could already see what it would become in the future. This is where Tenuta del Collecchio came to life. A courageous choice, guided by love for the land and the desire to create something that would last.

2006

First Vines Sink Roots

In 2006, after two years of tilling, levelling and transformation of this rugged and silent hill, the first hectares of vineyard were planted on the highest portion of the hill, a vineyard that could tell its most authentic character, Sangiovese, which would later become Morellino di Scansano, sinking its roots and finding its identity in the mineral soil of Collecchio.

2008

Excavation of the Cellar begins

After years of work, the hill begins to speak. In 2008 the first vines are now vegetating and taking shape, it is the beginning of a new dialogue between man and nature, made up of respect, listening and daily dedication, together with them we begin the excavation of what in the following 2 years will be our main focus, Babbo Luciano's dream, La Cantina.

2010

The First Harvest

In 2010 the first grapes arrived that truly tell the story of what Collecchio is: structure, elegance, depth. Each bunch carries with it the promise of a wine capable of conveying the breath of the land and our vision. This is the year in which the entire production department moved from the Tenuta di Fonteblanda to the Tenuta del Collecchio, the first dream was fulfilled, the first harvest in the new cellar, the Collecchio found its form. Maturation, refinement, waiting. The wine begins to speak with its own voice, bringing with it balance, complexity and a signature that will be recognisable in the years to come.

Today

Where Innovation and Tradition Merge

Today, Tenuta del Collecchio has become a symbol of Santa Lucia's philosophy: preserving tradition and pushing the envelope, season after season. A path that continues, fuelled by vision, research and that stubborn passion that has always accompanied every step.
