The Cupi Estate is the latest land to become part of our winery: an uncultivated field, transformed with vision and patience into a new productive heart. A place where everything started from scratch, working the land with respect and method, tracing out the rows and planting vines that today grow vigorously, rooted in the Maremma. There are no tasting rooms or paths for guests: Cupi does not welcome visitors, but guards the industrious silence of the working vineyard. It is an estate that tells of the future, the choice to grow while remaining faithful to the land, to produce in harmony, investing in quality, time and dedication.

Here every detail has been thought out to favour the health of the plants and the strength of the soil: studied exposures, calibrated distances, careful selections. Cupi represents an important step in the evolution of our production: the same varieties, greater capacity, an eye on the vintages to come. The landscape is essential, bare and beautiful, with the rows of vines chasing each other among the windswept hills. In this space there is no hospitality, but there is identity. A young vineyard that already speaks with firmness, and that fits respectfully into our vision: to grow without losing soul, to produce without forcing nature.

2004

The Roots of Dreaming

In 2004, a vision was born: to transform a rugged, silent hillside into a place where the vineyard could express its most authentic character. This is where Tenuta del Collecchio came to life. A courageous choice, guided by love for the land and the desire to create something that would last over time.

2008

The Earth Answers

After years of work, the hill begins to speak. In 2008, the first vines took root, finding their identity in the mineral soil of Collecchio. It is the beginning of a new dialogue between man and nature, made of respect, listening and daily dedication.

2010

The Birth of Character

In 2010 the first grapes arrived that truly tell the story of what Collecchio is: structure, elegance, depth. Each bunch carries with it the promise of a wine capable of conveying the breath of the land and our vision.

2012

Wine Time

2012 marks a decisive stage: in the cellar, Collecchio finds its form. Maturation, refinement, waiting. The wine begins to speak with its own voice, bringing with it balance, complexity and a signature that will be recognisable in the years to come.

TORE DEL MORO RESERVE

The great softness of the tannic structure and the spicy persuasiveness give the Riserva a mouthfeel and balance that make it a great Maremma wine. A fantastic combination with game.

CANAPON

This was the nickname of the last Grand Duke of Tuscany, Leopold II of Lorraine, who contributed, among others, to the reclamation of our Maremma, but also the name of a wine that was produced in the past by our father, which we have now decided to dust off in a new guise and product for our cellar.

PRESIDIO

From the vineyards that we have been tending for years under the Rocca Aldobrandesca in Capalbio comes this blend of Petit Verdot and Syrah that represents our last outpost on the Maremma, just as Capalbio and its Rocca were for the ancient Presidia State.
