In this wine we can find all the freshness, softness and consistency of a young Sangiovese from Maremma. Its fruity aroma makes it an excellent aperitif and favors combinations with appetizers, including cheeses and red meats.

PETIT VERDOT

Intense ruby red with violet reflections. On the palate it stands out for its great pleasure and ease of drinking and pairing.

Fresh red fruit characterizes the aromas of this young Sangiovese, which make it perfect for an aperitif, cheese-based appetizers and red meats.

Type of wine: D.O.C. Maremma Toscana Sangiovese
Area of origin: The vineyards grow near Magliano in Toscana a few km from the area of the reserve “Park of Maremma”.
Cultivation: Sapling rows and guyot going from the East to West; This particular vineyard-keeping allows a good level of phenolic maturation of the grape and the safeguarding of its typical aromas until the moment of the harvest.
Grapes: Sangiovese and Petit Verdot.
Harvest: Takes place in the 2nd or 3rd week of September depending on the season and in any case, when the grapes reach optimal phenolic mature age ready to be harvested. The grapes are harvested manually and moved in boxes till the wine cellar.
Vinification: The selected grape, after pressing, do its fermentation in steal tank, under controlled temperature.
Maturation: The wine rest 6 months in steel, when during spring it’s finally inbottled.
Refiniment: The wine goes 6 months in steel before selling.
Color: Intense ruby red with violet shades.
Bouquet: Fresh red fruity aroma, typical of Sangiovese.
Taste: Easy drinking and pleasantness in mounth.
Serving temperature: 18°C.
